Supported phones and operating systems

General Philosophy

We are striving to support the widest range of mobile devices. However, due to the cutting edge nature of AI and AR we are often not able to bring all or any features to older phones. We are often adding new features into the SDK that are only supported on newer devices. In such cases, we are attempting to create compensating experiences for older devices and are structuring our APIs to reduce the impact on the UX for older generation of phones.

iPhone Min Requirement:

We've tested the performance of the SDK on iPhone 7+ and newer.

For development, we are supporting iOS 13 and above.

Android Min Requirements:

We are supporting Android 21 and newer.

We are currently supporting Kotlin 1.4 and 1.6. The exact versions that we build with are 1.4.21 and 1.6.10, so there are two different .aar being published with each release.

Volume Estimation

Volume / Amount Estimation is currently supported on the following iPhones: * iPhone 11 Pro & Pro max * iPhone 12 Mini * iPhone 12 Pro & Pro max * iPhone 13 * iPhone 13 Pro & Pro max

*iPhone 14 Pro & Pro max
